i have:

P4 2.4 Ghz CPU
1 Ghz DDR Ram
Leadtek Geforce FX 5900 128MB
Plenty of Hard Disk space
Onboard 6 Channel sound Card
Direct X9
Nvidia Graphics Driver: 53.03 i think(the latest version)

Will this be enough to play Far Cry with out slow down?
I mean full on action with the highest detail and with almost everything happening on the screen without slowing down the fps?

i dont think anyone can answer that until the multiplayer beta starts to get spread around for the beta testing.

I think your sound will cause you some slow down but that is probably it.

why would the sound slow down the gameplay? i heard that using sound cards such as Sound Blaster Audigy will cause slowdowns on some games. All the games i have run beuatifully even with my onboard sound.

Your system will lag the game like crazy. About 8-15FPS max I'd say.

Thats bull. Your system will run it pretty damn well. If that spec goes at 8-15 fps then no pc will run it well.

Thanks syntaxical, atleast i will sleep a bit better knowing abit that my system should be able to run one of the best games to come out in a while. I cant wait (when is the release date again?)
