Hello all!

I was wondering if there was a way that I could delete the trails the bullets create to give the game a more realistic feel.

I heard this game is quite modable so I figured it might be possible.

Any ideas?

go into the guns lua file and delete, or add -- in front the line, were it states some stuff about bullet trails, repack and all that good stuff and your done. Not really that hards jsut look at the luas, its plain english

Fubz, I didn't find the "guns" but I did find the weapons folder with a bunch of .Lua files in it.

Since I am going to remove the trails from the Sniper Rifle first would I edit the "SniperRifle.lua" or the "SniperBullet.lua" file? I noticed an entry in the SniperBullet.lua file that says:

-- trace "moving bullet"

And one in the SniperRifle.lua file that says:

SmokeEffect = {

AND

ExitEffect = "bullet.sniper_trail",

I think the "ExitEffect = "bullet.sniper_trail"," line is the one I want to change, but I'm not sure..

It is kind of confusing since the "ExitEffect = "bullet.sniper_trail", line is repeated under a few Params.

Can you help me get back onto track here?

Any insight here would be greatly appreciated!
