I myself am new to PC gaming as of May of this year. Had built a PC to run Vista, and was curious how some games run on it (haven't played video games since the Pacman arcade days - I know it dates me. I am hooked on PC gaming; GRAW2 is intense! Try using a keyboard/mouse when your hands are trembling due to the bloody tank at the airport and trying to keep your team alive! I had to walk away and take a deep breath!

I read comments and understandably crashes are not fun - I've seen my share this summer. But as far as gameplay goes - it's all new to me, and I am really enjoying this new hobby.

He proberly familiarize himself with beeing in the combat, which is the purpose of the illusion the game creates. Unlike pacman that it pretty hard to relate to Since he is obviosly not a regular gamer i think its nice to see that the game can give him that reaction, means the illusion works.

Wow I didn't know singleplayer gaming could do that to you, esspecially with a quicksave key lol. But anyway, welcome to the forums. I found this game not intense at all due to poor enemy AI. I know its a tactical game (and the tactics were great) and firefights shouldnt play a big part but they are fun every now and then and the firefights in the 360 version where far better. On this one its kinda like you click assault and your team stands around as you take each tango out, taking as long as you want to line each one up as the ones beside him dont even flinch.

I need to agree with you on that. I havnt had a tickle yet in Graw 2. The intensitivity ive seen in the 360 videoclips isnt to be found in the pc version. The enemy AI needs to have a rain of fire (that all miss) put down on them before they change target from there main target that often is your ally NPC. And like you explain If you pop one enemy in a group his teammates are always stonedeaf and blind and dont react at all.
Equip a sniperrifle and put your team on hold and then take out a raid, just hit the one looking in your direction first then pop the rest one by one.Even on hardcore

>>@ CDMartin, I got that way when too . Don't let the other "semi-jaded" pro's here get you down. It's what the game developer's had in mind. Go through the single player first, get really sharp, then give Multiplayer a try. Locate a reputable server, has good admins, good, quality honorable players that play for the enjoyment of the game. You'll find that your gaming experience will be more enjoyable. Also, it CAN be addicting.
I did a LOT of online gaming with SoF2, Quake series, and I found them to be enjoyable, ONCE I found a couple of good servers to play on that had quality players. I don't do much on-line play anymore...except WoW...(I know..I know..lol..but, hey, I don't have to worry about a script kiddie erasing my NTBootloader.* when I kill him fair and square...)
