Go back to 4.10 until ATI get their act together (we can only hope )

did u uncheck 'combine/secondary color' in ur pf setup...if u did, that might be the problem. i've had that before doing just that. if ur running in perfect mode, 'combine' is definately needed.

    Combine and secondry are ticked.
I generaly set my machine up to Coastie or Hunters recs.
Heres what happened, a bunch of us were flying a few co-op missions, mostly short quick ones, Then we started to fly this long mission, and 4 of us in tight formation for like 45minutes, great fun. Trouble is on the way out my cockpit went all screwy as you can see.
    AT THE VERY SAME TIME, one of the other pilots flying co-op had EXACTLY the same thing happen. Every now and again we would get a flicker and slight change in the texture corruption in the pit, and we confirmed via TS that it happens at virtually the same time, needless to say he is also running an ATI card on the latest drivers.;
I have a track of the mission which plays back perfectly from what I can see.
I can supply the track, the mission, anything you want, but this is getting frikkin irritating.
I have almost had a gut full of it.

EDIT: Reported through the ATI driver feedback program complete with screeny url.

Me and a squaddie were getting exactly the same problem at exactly the same time in coops with our 9800 PRO's (that was with 4.12 cats)so after lots of messing about we gave up and went back to 4.10's which work perfectly with the game. Not ideal i know but it works for us.Now we can fly instead of messing around with catalysts that may/may not work (delete as applicable)

I have tried so many different drivers m8, to be honest with no real difference.
I have replayed the mission with various different configs, but cannot consistently recreate the problem, which would really help.
I will give the 4.10's a bash (cant remeber if i tried them before for any length of time) though today, hope I have the success you and your squaddies have with them.

After you install the new drivers, set video settings in PF-setup on Radeon 9800/9700etc.

Start PF and play a couple of minutes in QMB, exit and change de video settings to your custom again. This worked for me with the same card.

While not really a fix if you like the qaulity of the 5.1 or 4.11 and 4.12 for that matter whem it hits us in coops we just all exit the game, restart it and run the same mission again. 99% of the time thats does the trick............until we start another mission

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every single minute of it.

I can't reproduce it guys on 5 different systems Intel or AMD, 9700,9800,X800 Pro,or XT PE . Few things to check because if you look at it what is the common issue...happening in a co-op...may not be an ATI issue, may not be a PF issue. May be a co-op that is not compiled in the new format creating errors by bad pointers....happens on DF maps also when hosts do not re-compile maps after patches.

I did not have technical relations with that question

I have also tried to reproduce it to no avail.
All I can conclusively say is that when it happens, it affects everyone that is using ATI card on the same driver. Its very random and very irritating hehe.
I installed 4.10's but havent had the time to really 'stress test online' for lack of a better description. All the 4.10's do is make the water look crappy on the same water settings in conf.ini lol.
For info, heres the map we were playing at the time, nice mission.

The graphics glitch happened whilst we were still in line waiting to takeoff. Cant seem to reproduce it though.

EDIT: re the maps, I have had this type of thing happen in a Dogfight mission as well, but that was not on the 5.1 drivers.
Hunter, is there anything that can easily identify missions that are 'not configed correctly'. Me and my m8's all run the full instal FB/AEP/PF, ta
