Do the RAF serial numbers(the black numbers/ letters at the fusealge band towards the elevators) change with each plane? As in the luftwaffe WR. No. In other words, the large fusalage lettering is in sequence- TPA-TPB-TPC-TPD. But the serial numbers/letters totally different for each plane? Are they production run numbers? Or would they be sequential as in the squadron lettering?
