I've seen some complaints about the HOTAS, however, 99% of them are due to lack of dead zone adjusting wich is remarkable how ppl expect to have things magicaly set up out of the box.
The other 1% speak of "the MOD's make it work like it should have been in the first place"

    Whats with it?

I use CH fighterstick+pro throtlle+pro pedals and it's the best! I had before X45 and it's a great HOTAS but CH is much much better. I must try Thrustmaster Cougar, i hear it's the best but with some problems.

Cougar has no equal, i have had mine for six months, with no mods except putting a shim in the x axis to eliminate play, I bet 99% of the ppl that complain about havnt even used one

BTW I went through 3 X45's in 6 months, either bad luck and I got three bad ones or they got bounced arround alot in transit, and no I treated them carefuly and they had very few hours on them, after the last one was sent back I got my money back and saved for a Cougar, its out lasted all of them and shows no signs of any problems developing

I use the Cougar Hotas w/ TM Elite Pedals. No complaints, contrary to what has been posted above.

None of that Track IR crap either.
