about gore
GT: What about the game’s depiction of combat violence? Will it take a realistic approach as in Saving Private Ryan or will it follow the standard for this genre of games?
Randy Pitchford: I don’t think war is for kids. War is often violent and horrific and to sugar coat the experience in order to market the game to a demographic it really shouldn’t be marketed to is something I would be concerned about. Sometimes in Brothers in Arms, serious tissue trauma can happen. A human body can be torn apart by the explosive shells of a tank’s main gun or a mine.

Speaking of gore, has anyone found a in-game screenshot of limbs coming off, because I have not found one.
