Thread: Creating Room Issue Solved!! | Forums

  1. #1
Finally got my room working so people could come in. It wasn't a Lock On software issue, or the patch. That was all ok.

I had to go into my ATT modem router, which is a 2Wire model 2701 HG-B and set all the ports so ubi.com & lock on would be allowed to operate and people could connect coming in. The issue wasn't me being able to out.

Also had to set all the "permissions" in my anti-virus. I use McAfee. I dumped the AVG because I could not find a way to set the permissions in that program.

So, set your permissions & configure your router ports, and if the software is operating properly you should be able to get you room working.

    Port numbers are:

    80.....6667......10308......& 40000 to 42000

Set both TCP & UDP Protocols using these port numbers. Also type the name of the program in there. and the ubi.com web site. You will end up with 16 entries, 8 for the web site, and 8 for the LOMAC program.

Contact your Internet service provider for assistance if you can't figure it out, they can help...Good luck! Having a blast now...
