Thread: Should Future Multiplayer Service consist of Matchmaking-like services? | Forums

Don't get me wrong, but I enjoyed GRAW with the type of online service it supported, but after a few month-while's of experiencing the same type of setup, basically getting in ranked rooms with a group of clan mates, and friends, I question whether it should be the way it is.

I know that recently they patched up the ranked match multiplayer in terms of having the ability to play with friends (on same teams.) Sure, with the patch they did fix the issue of "unbalanced," and "stacked" teams slightly to a degree. But I question if they ought to have just set up a matchmaking service. However, I wont say that the patch that came out that of a few months ago didnt kill the game, but along with my friends and I, It may have kinda ruined the experience for us; that of the game. And also for others as well.

My opinion is that a matchmaking service would be a great tool for future GR Online servers. Along with making it easier for balancing teams, it would provide gamers with what the majority would want, which is playing together.

Gamers could be matched according to rank and/or kills/death ratio; whatever works best. It would provide and easier way to get into a game, and an expedited way for playing in a match. There are many more pro's and con's of a matchmaking like service, but I think a service would have benefited everyone especially with how GRAW was set up.
