    hi can anyone help........ I am trying to run might and magic 4 5 6 & 7 on My pc Im running win xp but it says I need direct X 6 but I have d/loaded direct X 9 and it still wont run ...

    any ideas please???

    Install DX 9.0c.

    When installing the game sometimes you get a message saying that it could not find DX. Ignore it. Games prior ro MM6 don't need DX.

    I think... o_O dx 6 is for 98.... :| You have xp right?
