Soory this is just absolute Trivia - but I think it's worth mentioning
Well what I really was wondering about ist the huge difference between the artworks of Mitchell on the GR II sites and the boxart of GRAW. Actually I think this are two different persons (just have a look at the face, the lips, nose and all that) - more so, if you consider that GRAW plays 2013 an Mitchell is born somewhat 1976 - so he might be around 37 - and for that age the guy on the box and in several artworks looks rather young (And I'm not complaining about that, just mentioning it). The Mitchell in GR II looked older, but should be younger.
After all, the boxguy (and Videoguy) also looks quite different from the rather oldish avatar you actually play in the game - well given the new wallpapers I'd give a lot if my avatars looked just as cute as the boxboy, but that may just be a women's thought.
Never mind, I did some detective work and sought for pictures of former GR games with a similar good looking lad, yet found none. I eventually found a thread (here in this forum or in some other one in germany, can't quite remember) where some guy mentioned he found a screenshot that proposed the thought that the developers didn`t in the first place name the boxboy Mitchell but Logan.
So searching any further for Logan and the like I found a picture of a game-hero, which has the same face geometry as the box boy - same lips, same chin, same cheeks. Just the colour of the eyes, the age and the Crosscom beeing different.
So now I wonder if this is any life-prolonging method for good looking game-heroes, just to import them into another game, giving them the personality of some old grunt, who has not been that good looking anyway. Or Mitchell recently played Chrome (That's the name of the game Logan comes from (Take2 Interactive)) and then went straight to his developers complaining: "Men look, if you want me not just beeing sucessful on the battlefield, master of weapons and so on, Ghost Commander, unnerving Blackhawk Pilots all day, but having some real fun - or at least a 0,1 percentage chance of ever getting any women-fanclub, you'd better get me decent face roundup and some years less, or I'll give you hell right here right now."
So I just want to express the game developers (or the artwork team) my high appraisal for the best looking game hero (as is on the box- and videoart) so far. One who really looks like a man, not like a androgynized women - and the first one tho make it on the background of my desktop, beeing unchallenged so far.

You know the same is wtih the hotty Sam Fisher? He looks old in the first game young in the second and come 3rd he looks 40 ish. The upcoming game he looks younger but without his hair looks real old and rough which is sexy! Sam Fisher is the best action hero I think, that personality and the voice! *melts* can't beat it, nor his sence of humor.

If they matched Sam Fisher's looks to the real actor would the game be the same?

It has been said many times on the Splinter Cell boards, Michael Ironside is a sexy man, even being 55 he still has sex appeal! If they used his face for in-game he would still be a hotty. And the game would still rawk hard.
I think the real voice actor Steve Blum would of done a good job of a real life Mitchell, hes pretty cute too add some stuble a helmet a cross-com and he looks like Mitchell http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../steveblum.jpg
