    Are the amount of enemy ships in a campaign unlimited? Or does the enemy's navy shrink with respect to the ships being sunk? Along that same vein, are there unlimited enemy aircraft carriers and battleships?

    I am curious about this and would be great full if any one knows for sure?

    All enemies are spawned, and there's an infinite supply, I think. Not only is this a gameplay benefit, but I would think the engine would break down if it had to keep track of all ship/fleet status across the entire arena. Realism fans would probably love to have the feature, but I'm not sure it would be feasible in a video game.

    I would love that realistic game play, but it would be impossible to script future battles.
    If I sunk a carrier that's scripted to appear at a later battle,,,,that would be a problem

    It would take a heck of programming to get it to work, but it would be cool.
