Remenber Splinter cell 1? when there was a part of a mission in the artic? And SCPT there was a level in the jungle that was daylight, I dont know if you guys agree whyt me but i thynk we had a daylight experience
Daylight... Yeah, but with lots of pitch black shadows.
this time there are some shadows but they're there just for the beauty of the mission. Hiding in them would be a pretty retarted idea.![]()

I don't remember that mission in SC1. But I haven't played it for ages.
And in PT it was in the evening. But there was still quite a bit of light. I was surprised that the uber-sensitive ai didn't see me.
And they included daylight missions because so many people(including every single one of my friends) complained that they didn't like the fact that it was entirely based at night time. So they add in daylight missions. Then people all over the forums complain.
Even the oilplatform in SC1 was during the day, but the shadow were dark enough to hide in, or the AI was too blind to see in them![]()

The Oilrig had almost no shadows. 90% of the stealth was based on avoiding enemy FOV and distraction - just like how the Kinshasa level is supposed to be.

It's too long ago, so I don't remember correctly, sorry. The only thing I remember it was light, and you had to follow Masse (which was annoying, because if you fell too far behind - game over...)
It has been a while for you, lol. He was following a technician carrying a briefcase with vital data leading to Masse involvement, or something like that.
