Well as a few of you know i have been trying to build a better community for us fellow gamers. I am now very happy to announce a new ladder system, and what better way to open the launch of this new system but with a Team knockout Tournament.

The Knockout will be between 16-32 teams. Any teams can play in this torney. The main rule is you have to have 4 members to take part.

This is still a work in progress and all the torney rules will be posted in the newxt day or so. But here is a quick brief of the rules so you know what to expect.

Rules.

All Teams must have 4 members.

Matches will be 4v4 only.

A ladder admin can provide a Host server if both teams are unable to host 4vs4 with no lag.

Maps: Best of 5 maps.

Rounder per map: Best of 5 rounds per map

The maps will be set and announced in a few days time.

Some kit restrictions may apply.

This is the most infomation i can provide you with at this time but please get you team signed up for the worlds 1st PC Vegas Torney!

I am not wanting to rain on your parade, as I applaude your initiative and your desire to better the community.

But, until PB is implemented, a community-wide tournament is premature. It might cause a lot of hard feelings.

Again, I think it's great what you are doing, but it might be better done after PB is in da house, so to speak. <div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Nahh why wait? I know PB is good but i have not seen i hacker in this game yet. i dont this they are any hacks made for it either. also i know that UBI'S next patch is not to far away.

It's the cheaters I don't trust.

With the ease of which someone can tweak their INI files to give them huge advantages over everyone else, you may have been pwned by a cheater and you would never know it.

Heard of terrible ping differences ? cant hold worldwide because many peeps wont play on an EU server against EU players that would pretty much be impossiple to win. I like and appreciate the effort but may have to split them based on US and EU sad to say.

Well all i can say is this...

Vegas is not like all the other online games. CSS, BF2 so on... I can host a full room on teams and this is with people in europe and USA and other places. I have never ever had any lag problems ...only wjhen my modem crashes that is lol

So you, my point is...it will work and you should test it 1st. Ping done not mean a alot on Vegas as its the same style hosting as Roguespear. And roguespear is 90% USA people and i can still play on there server and own them.

A bad player can not fault the server if its really his gameplay letting him down. I do advise you to please test it out on a good connection. Even a 2Mbps connection could host 4v4 with no issues.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
