Combo Timing? | Forums

What is the technique for timing combo's? Seems like I'm just pressing any combinations of Y, X, A, and B's and fluking the chained combos. Is there a thing to do for timing them right... or a key visual to start the next button combo?

P.S. I understand the combo tree in the pause menu - but I don't fully understand the timing thing!

I wait until the action is being done to press the next buttom, and it works for me

Combo timing is very generous. Just wait until the action is under way and hit the next button in the combo towards the end. And even if you're late, there's a good bit of grace period afterwards.

Now if only I could find a thread explaining combos with actual functions, rather than gamepad buttons...

X = Sword
Y = Elika
A = Acrobatic
B = Gauntlet

What i try to do is to hold down the button. Example: The combo is Y-X-Y-X it wont release the Y until the attack has finished and it enters "slow-motion"
