Also a spitfire gets behind an ishak, so what are you on about?!

PS: if what p47 says is true (which is not) then air battles would be all about chance, not having the better plane.
+1 it makes no difference on which plane is behind who because they both do damage to each other u just dont see the firing animation from the 1 in front.

I play random, which means I have to be prepared for any nation. (Oh, and I never build the OI, advanced AT, or Shinjin... because I don't sit around and wait for that kind of money.)

Thanks for being such a nice guy about it though.

and of corse it will not work with an Ishack and a 109, those 2 are in differant classes

but you take a 262 and a shinjin which should should be in the same class since both where armed with 4x 20mm cannons and the shinjin will win 90% of the time,

    classic real life story

vietnam, 2 A-1 skyradiers where jumped by a MIG 17

now you would you think "OH this will end badly for the skyraiders

in the end to Sandys shoot down the MIG 17 because they where able to out turn the MIG

you and see this the on the Dogfights show "Gun kills over veitnam" episode

and yes i don't under stand this because i am studdieing to become and Aeronatical engineree, so i have to know this suff, thank you
LOL. You would think that manuver would win the battle but I think in WWII the Americans learned that you just do not get into a turning dogfight with a plane that was more manuverable. The Zero was the lightest and most manuvable plane so the heavier amercan planes just "strafed" them and since they had the speed, they controled the fight. Same when the ME262's fought. They could not turn for squat but just zoomed in, ripped the opposition a new behind and then streaked by to see if they needed another run. So, speed and energy is king, manuverabily is nice if the enemy is dumb enough to slow down and play your game. With speed, you can leave the fight if things look bad. IMHO

Funny high-jacking a TD thread. I must say that the Japanese Ho-Ru may cost $10 but with only a level 2 armor (normal) but only 300m range (not normal) medum tanks will out range you and you cannot even hid in the woods. The least a Tank destroyer can do is shoot before the tank you are suppost to kill, kills you. LOL It is fast but who cares if you get hit (or suprised) before you can get into effective range.

Good thing you're not "studdieing" to be an English major.

Having a slower plane gives no advantage at all... its all about the plane to plane damage.

If you theory was right then the USSR 1st plane can beat the best GER 1 as long at its behind it, guess what it doesn't the German 1 does like 4x the damage even if the other plane is behind.

You should really understand what you are talking about before you type.

Both the French Tank Destroyers are terrible. The first one can be killed by artillery which eliminates the only reason to get TD over AT gun for me. The second one needs research, costs way too much, has weak armor, and doesn't have a turret.
