End Game Glitch - Glowing Temple Door | Forums

Okay, so I know a few people have had this now.

Basically, I've completed the game once, fine, second playthrough, I've healed all the grounds, killed the four bosses and now I'm told I need to go to the temple to finish off Ahriman.

I go there, and the door glows white. But when I go to walk through it, it acts like there's a wall there. Now, if I teleport away and then back to the region, the door doesn't even glow, you can clearly see the plain door there blocking my path, yet I have nowhere else to go.

Tried using the original lever to open the door, no luck. Tried walking instead of teleporting, no luck. Tried backing up my save, deleting all prince of persia files from my PS3 and then re-installing, loading my save and trying again, no luck.

What the hell is up with this, Ubi? This game is ridden with bugs and glitches from the looks of your technical help thread, and we all seem to be running into at least one glitch. I'm the one boss fight away from my 'Be gentle with her' and platinum trophies, I've just spent ages on thsi playthrough to be greeted with an invisible wall that I can't seem to remove. I enjoy the game but to be frank the glitch has completely ruined my love for this game.

Anyway, here's some more info - it doesn't just happen on a second playthrough, I know someone who had it occur on their first. It's not linked to the number of light seeds. And the second playthrough for me has seemed a little 'slow' on loading different lighting and textures - it's only when I enter the region that it loads.

A prime example being that I can stand just outside the temple region, and the sky is blue with a few clouds (and a bit of ahriman coming from the temple). I make the jump into the region, suddenly it reverts to it's usual grey, grim appearence.

Hey, I realise it's not exactly best conduct to bump a post but I'm getting the sneaking suspicion that if this thread slips off the bottom of the page then it will never get answered. I'm just hoping to get an answer to this - I would delete all of my data and start from scratch if I knew for sure that I wouldn't run into this error again but I don't know, that's the thing.

Hey, I've had exactly the same problem, and am in the EXACT same situation you're in, one boss away from my last 2 trophies and going through it the second time, I've done everything you've done with the running and collecting more light seeds but nothing seems to work, i even changed my character look hopeing that would do anything, but again no luck, im just wondering if you found a way past it, or if ubis posted anything about this, i cant seem find any solutions on the net about this, and im super frustrated.

Hey, I don't think that is possible unfortunately. Although I could try again, I don't want to do it to run into the same error again.

I think the consoles only keep one autosave - I backed up all of my saves before I took them off anyway, so I still have them. After deleting everything to do with PoP, I reinstalled, put my save back on but run into the same problem.

The save I have previously is about halfway through the game, I can go back to it and try and I think I will if it will help to find a solution to this problem for everyone else getting it. I was just wondering what the likelihood was of you guys making a patch to fix this and a load of other problems on the console versions, which means I could load up my latest save and not have to redo anything again?

Yea i tried renting another copy of the game and still nothing, at this point im beyond frustrated and i think im just gonna let this one go, hopefully they'll install an update, because its true i did enjoy the game but this little glitch put a sour taste in my mouth for the whole game now, its really to bad.

Im getting this EXACT problem on my 360 as well as one of the boss areas not exploading and the rumble of the place still going on even when im no where near the area....jesus christ im thinking of selling this game...this is a joke...

Same problem here. I think it affects a certain number of people with particular systems (different revisions maybe?) only.

Ok guys, we might be on to a solution.

A member of the site I work for has had this same problem, on his first play through and his second, not just his second.

I've discussed with him and it seems that there were glitches with the Hunter's final battle (hoping this is right for you, Distorsion?).

He's playing through again, after having deleted everything to do with PoP on his system and starting from scratch. He's going to leave3 the Hunter until last, then make a load of saves neaar to the point he's getting to the final battle. We think it's just the game not registering something every now and then, which makes that cutscene glitch and the final white door not open.

Hopefully, if it glitches, he can go back to one of the saves and try again until it works, which should mean the glowing door opens at the end.

He's pretty close now, so if it works for him I'll post to let you know and then I'll go get this **** trophy myself!
