Thread: manually entering an ip for a lan game | Forums

  1. #1
i go to a school that blocks the ports the game uses to play on the internet, and our lan has variance in more than the last set of digits, so the auto-detect only works within the same building. in order to play with people across campus, i either need a way to manually enter an ip for a lan game, such as half-life or ut 2004 has, or a way to expand the scope of the lan game search. does anyone know how to do this? thanks in advance.
