Thread: The most realistic mod setup for v1.4? | Forums

    S! guys.

I just bought SH4 but am still missing the U-boat expansion (scouring the net for a European download version ATM), but I'd still love to try the game out. It's just that I have my reservations concerning the realism of the stock game so I want to try it out with some mods. I've heard that RFB, NSM and RSRDC are the ones to get, but what else should I install in your opinion?

S! again guys and keep the sunny side up

Agreed. TMO, RSRDC, and ROW is the way to go. NSM however, is not compatible with TMO though.

    Thank you gents!

I actually took the weirdo route and decided to combine some simpler old mods myself in order to make the boats behave a bit better (plus to teach myself some rudimentary modding). So far I _seem_ to have a working Salmon with a more realistic dive rate, battery life and crush depth I did try some of the supermods out, too, but decided not to use them because the versions were really ancient and unsupported...

But anyway, gotta find that addon at a reasonable price somewhere next S! all.
