I noticed this happening several times last night. My wife would stack on one side of a door and then I would order the rest of the team to stack as well. When one of the AI guys tried to stack in the same place my wife already was (Hey! Back off man!), he would blink in and out of existence like he was dancing next to a strobe light.
Other than that we were having a blast playing the game on my 360.

I had this happen a few times my team would just disapear and I had to either get to a new check point and die or redo it from the last check point to get them back.
I concur. It happened to me last night at the scene where you lead your team to check for the van's content.
We then entered the building, went to the first floor and then to the door to the end of the corridor to the right (on 1st floor). There, after a snake cam, I've lost my teammates.
I needed to get killed and start from last checkpoint to regain them back.
They blinked out and didn't come back? Man, thats way worse that what happened to me.
