    I have an Acer 7720G 1.VIDIA GeForce'8400m GS 256MB graphics card running Vista but am unable to run Silent Hunter 2 Help?

    Do you mean Silent Hunter 3? What version of Vista are you using, 32 bit or 64 bit? I have never tried to run the game on Vista, so I have no personal experience with it. I suspect that the cause is the StarForce copy protection drivers that came with the original game being incompatible with Vista 64 bit. You can get around that either by getting a recent edition of the game from Ubisoft that no longer has StarForce, updating the StarForce driver or using a method that forum rules forbid to discuss openly.
