Why is there no EFC force recon for Thessaly. It is two territories away from Le Ceito.

The ToW on the ubisoft site shows force recon available to all territories 2 jumps away from an army base - except for Le Ceito.

Last night EFC faced mission support by all opposition on all maps without any support of its own, and again today - when EFC should be having a fair fight at least at Thessaly.

There is going to be another precipitous drop in EFC players for a second night in a row if these incongruous rules are applied. It is difficult to rank units up and every map dramatically increases the chances for units being killed by high level airstrikes and AI force recon shooting at everything. Personally, I want to get COD 5 - and I probably will today - because it was damn hard to find EFC teammates last night wanting to only fight severely handicapped matches. I measured a 42% drop in EFC played matches from a week ago (no raid missions a week ago), and a similar drop in JSF played matches - as JSF players were trying to find EFC layers in Okefenokee.

I did check for the ToW rules. It seems clear though - Force Recon is available two territories out from a base - it is available that way for all other army bases.

Bases offering support offer it upto two spaces away but only within their 'homeland', the 13 starting territories for each faction.

If a territory is within range, but not on the same native soil, support cannot be offered.

Thessaly is on SPZ native soil, thus support cannot be offered from Le CEITO on EFEC native soil.

Fort Campbell on American homeland soil is offering Russia Force Recon two territories out throughout American soil. That is indicated online, and in game.


Your assertion seems to be the case for turn one of a war, but after that, fair play is dropped.

The territory doesn't care who the owner is, it just offers support within two squares and within it's original native soil.

Ft. Campbell is JSF native soil, and offers support to any territory of its current owner within two squares and on JSF native soil.

Hope that clears it up.

I think what TThomaso is saying is that support won't cross a faction boundary i.e. you can't get Force recon from a "originally Euro" territory in Russia.

Use EW.
