I recently finished Silent Victory-it's a very exhaustive work on U.S. Submarine operations in the Pacific during the World War II. Any and every question I could possibly think of was answered. Mr. Blair provides a very detailed account of our boat designs and history. At times, it could be frustrating to read because of the poor quality of our torpedoes at the onset of the war, and the unwillingness of the brass to acknowledge it. He also profiles the individual skippers and each of their patrol histories. After reading it, his account has added immeasurably to playing SH4. I highly recommend it. Thanks, everyone.
