Thread: Remove Respawns from Attack and Defend ! Bring back Retrieval ! | Forums

Respawns must be removed from attack and defend to make this gametype tactical. Attack and defend is best when round based.

In attack and defend each team "spawns" at opposite sides of the map, and proceeds to pursue its objective. Because this is a scenario gametype usally with 6+ players 3 per team when a character dies, the player must wait for the next round to resume play.

In a room created by the host he or she must have the option for round based play such as the number of rounds, round type, and round time.

Respawns should be removed from all game types except Team Leader.

Or at the very least encourage non respawn play more by awarding more points than playing with respawns on.

If UBISOFT removed respawns completely except from team leader then this game would just die right there. From what I've seen the gross majority of players would not like a strictly "No Respawn" game.

You can pick the amount of respawns there are (I'm not sure if you can do that on A&F though).

The gross majority of players NOW. Doing so would get rid of them, yes, but the R6 fans would come back.

I think catering to the 2 million plus fans that have supported them since they first opened their company is a smarter idea than catering to the same amount of people that are just here until something new comes out for Halo 3 or COD4.

I don't understand why Ubisoft thought removing half the game modes + armor would be a good idea. This is a blatant attempt at just pushing out a game as soon as possible to get money and LOL @ this patch.

I think the host should have the choice of realistice mode (no respawns) or unrealistic mode (unlimited respawns), that way everybody can be happy..Especially those of us who liked to play both.

I dont know if they could bring retreival back in a patch but that would add a lot of value to the game as well.

There should be choices for everything. Respawns shouldn't be taken out just because a few people feel this way. It should be an option so that EVERYONE can be satisfied. Fans and haters of respawn will be happy if there was an option.

Imagine someone posting "I hate attack & defend. It should be taken out" Well, the obvious thing would be to not play it. If we had an option to have unlimited to no respawns, things would work out fine.

Yes bring back Retrieval. Surely it can't be that hard as they've already got the code from RV1 to use as a starter???

Please bring Retrieval back in a DLC ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
