Well seeing that people have some issues I've gathered the info given from Ubisoft Solution Center. Maybe this will decrease the same Q's and give some answers. I'll update it when they update the Q&A...Good luck!

<span class="ev_code_RED">I am trying to install Rainbow Six: Lockdown, and it is asking me for an install key. I do not see an install key in the box. How can I install this game?</span>
The Install Key for Rainbow Six: Lockdown is:
*Please note, this key code is only used for the installation of the game. The multiplayer key can be found on the back of the game manual in this format: RS4-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
<span class="ev_code_RED">When I try to play Rainbow Six: Lockdown multiplayer through Ubi.com, I get an error telling me that my CD key is already online. I was never prompted to input a CD key, how could it be online already?</span>
At the connect to ubi.com screen, you will notice a line under the 'Connect' button that says "Enter CD Key." You will need to enter your multiplayer CD key (found on the back of the game manual) in this box before connecting.
If you do not enter a key, you will receive the 'CD Key Online' error.
<span class="ev_code_RED">I'm not hearing any of my gunshot sounds. How can I fix this?</span>
Browse to the directory you installed the game to (by default it's C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Rainbow Six Lockdown).
Open up the 'data' folder and right click the 'options.xml' file located here.
Select the option to 'Open With... Notepad' and scroll down to the line that says "useWinMM = 0/>" in the <audio> section.
Change the 0 to a 1 and then save this document.
Restart the game and you should not have any more trouble.
<span class="ev_code_RED">My reticule is missing when playing the game. Why don't I have a target reticule?</span>
When playing on the 'Challenge' skill setting, the reticule will be turned off. In order have the targeting reticule, you will need to play under the normal skill setting.
<span class="ev_code_RED">When I try to run Rainbow Six: Lockdown, I get the error message: "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found.</span>
To fix this problem, you will have to install the DirectX version that comes with the game.
If you are experiencing this problem with the demo version of the game, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the demo and be sure to install DirectX when prompted to do so.
If you are experiencing this problem with the full retail version of Lockdown, you can find the DirectX installation file on Disk 5 of the game. To access this file, place disk 5 in the drive and in Windows, open My Computer -> Right-click on the drive with the disk and select Explore. Browse to the DirectX9 folder and run the DXSETUP.exe file.
This will install the correct version of DirectX needed by the game and allow you to play without problems
