A spear gun for the water would be nice.

Floating at whatever level dropped, mines would be cool as well.

I hope some of those stealth moves are available in multiplayer.

Trip wires that you could set in the jungle, maybe even attach a grenade to one end.

Blow gun with sleeping darts. These might put you out for 15-20 seconds, which depending on where the shot came from, determines whether you live or not.

Maybe a real gruesome trap like a spike wall that slams up in your face once triggered.

What about a grappling hook or something to do zip lines with? I would like the ability to tie(not throw like Just Cause) grapple the hook to a helicopter and something else. So an enemy would have to untie it before escaping. Or you can carry another vehicle across the map to somebody.

and... I'm getting carried away.

to be completely honest, Where Will They Get All These Cool Guns From? A scar is an expensive,modern military gun, if the people have been on the island for some time there will be no guns like that. Anyway, Everyone says "Not to make the game like Call Of Duty" yet they wan't all the modern military like guns. Personally, i prefer guns like the "Double Barreled Shotgun". Still used today but are quite old. Also, they were in Far Cry 2's Fortunes pack and work really well.

There's this one book series I know of called "Improvised Munitions", there are 3 volumes, which sourced directly from Special Forces handbooks and manuals. They have really gruesome improvised traps, weapons and stuff. If you developers want to give that book a read, you might find ideas for some brutal weaponries. And no, i don't own the books, if anyone asking(read them once from a used bookstore, too embarrass to check them out )

And Jason Brody is also Special Forces, so...
Also, I hope you guys can come up with a better use for the Flare Gun, if includes(it doesn't make any damn sense in FC2)

what?! you could set off a fire that would spread into the bases and catch fire to explosives and guards. Every gun had a reasonable use

A Sniper mixed with a grenade launcher? That's insane, besides there were 2 grenade launchers in Far Cry 2.
