I have a feeling we'll follow about 2 to 3 ancestors.
Perhaps Altair as a flashback, shown in the first mini teaser. (not 100% though)
Maybe Giovanni Auditore, seeing as Ezio's birthdate was listed and he seemed to be up to something before Ezio's birth.
Of course, this is all just speculation.

Hopefully Ezio, Desmond, and Altair. Perhaps Altair was brought back through a POE and can fight alongside you. I just hope he has his sanity.

I hope we play as ezio and while in present some bleending effects make you play as altair on the same places where u played as ezio

I wonder if we'll be playing as Altaïr's son and not Altaïr himself. In AC 2, Desmond had that dream where he saw the conception of the ancestor after Altaïr, which couldn't have happened too long after Bloodlines (which itself took place shortly after AC 1.
