Sound, but no music | Forums

Hello everyone!

Just having a weird problem with my AC:B, since yesterday, when I'm on freeplay through Rome, I can hear sounds and everything but music never starts! And it's curious because I can hear the music of the menus even when I'm on the map or in the main menu. Even when I replay a memory music starts and when I get out of the animus... but when I'm roaming throught rome just to do the guild chalenges for example, music doesn't start... any thoughts?

PD: It's not because of my speakers or my sound card, it's all checked, other games work perfectly, even AC2, it's just AC:B and when I'm not playing any memory or romulous catacomb or anything, it's always when I'm free to walk around rome.

Have you tried re-installing the full game again, just in case some Music files are missing ??

Also try to contact UbiSOft Support department, and tell them about this MUSIC in-game issue.

Just see if they can help you out or not ? provide them FULL details of your PC and game.

Thanks for your reply, and yes, I re-installed the game and also contacted Ubisoft support, and nothing has been said, yet. But now things got weird, if a replay a sequence, music goes fine, but I started sequence 8 for the first time, and music didn't started... gosh! this game needs some patching, playing without music really cuts out part of the emotion

Hi there,

The game should play music the first time - so that's rather strange..


I suggest you wait and talk to support - they do not work at weekends if you contacted them on Sunday, and can take upto 48 hours to reply so you should get a reply soon.

If not, update the ticket on the support site and ask them for an update.
