any clues on this? is leading me quite paranoid into a matrix world where girls can chose different shells cause it happens me often with many girls

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I wouldn't call her ugly. In any case, singers should be judged on their voice, not their looks - or do you prefer tone-deaf eye-candy, Raaaid?

So you think the woman in the video you posted is a cara fea?

Here's a singer who will definitely make you want to bat for the other team:

When I first heard this song on the radio back in the 80's, I immediately pictured someone like Jane Wiedlin in a short leather skirt, torn fishnets and stillettos when I heard the singer's voice.

    I was wrong.

Just what defines beauty seems impossible to define. There has been research done that suggests that most cultures tend to have an 'ideal type' but I suspect that anyone who actually looks like that risks being seen as lacking individualism - you can be 'too good looking'. As for why you see the same woman differently at different times, I suspect it has more to do with your own moods than anything external. Certainly when I'm feeling happy, the girls are better looking...

A little off-topic, H-A. Funny though. Whats your opinion on female beauty? How much is her, and how much is how you see her...

Of course level of intoxication can be a factor too.

    Great question AJW.

I've certainly seen enough "Mary Anne Vs Ginger" threads to realize that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. When I laid eyes on my wife she was 17, and I was more or less wrecked for other women from that point on. I assume my eye for beauty is somewhat in tune, since seldom a week goes by where somebody (men and women) doesn't comment about either her curly hair or blue eyes or some other factor of cuteness. So, I feel blessed in that area.

I'm not a drinking man, but I can easily see how a pair of beer goggles would come in handy. I would think loneliness would play an even bigger part.
