best thing i can say is use the small platform structure placing them side by side and you should have what your looking for. if you need to overlap them be sure to move them up or down a hair to avoid the annoying flash .

If you have seen another map that has the effect you are going for, dissect it in your editor. You'll be able to see what objects, paint, etc. was used. This is very handy.

Most people go for what furious suggested though, which is to use platform #3.

AMRI LAMBO M4TT made some nice looking asphalt in his map 'Air Base ALM'. I think he painted it using jungle roadside then set the storm factor up top give it look darker. Check it out

Concrete roads work just as well, so either platform without the handrails will do. There are also a few platforms of varying sizes in the Industrial structure set. They are 'hangar floor' and range from small to large and have nice little ramps at the ends, if you want them. If not, sink them into the ground so they just are barely showing above the terrain. These look something between concrete and asphalt, but make great parking lots. Add the colonial fences sunk until just a strip is showing and you have parking stripes.

    Happy Editing!

Oh im sorry, I just realized the 360 has an object limit. These are about medium cost, so you may want to go with Mikk Q's suggestion if your map is anything more than small. Wouldnt want you to run out of memory!
