besides the fact that we get disconnected randomly after 10 secs or so(and to my knowledge theres no fix for that, correct me if im wrong PLZ!), we would like to enjoy the ingame voice chat system without ventrilo/ts/etc., but we just cant hear each other...ofc we have it enabled in options, sensitivity @ 100, mics working, msn/ts/etc. works fine, but no matter how hard we scream, theres no tone coming from the speakers...(exept for other effects ofc)
am i missing something or is it a "push to talk" system? if so which button?

we both have xp sp2(tho i have home and he has pro, but that shouldnt be a problem right?)

btw dont ask why r we using voice chat over lan
