    Jason, and the rest of the gang, stay tuned:
    I have found out what is going on with my U-Play access, and why so many people have the same issue. I will post a separate forum tread so others can see too.
    Today I tried logging on to U-play from the AC2 menu (by pressing the triangle button) from my PS3 but NOT under my usual PSN ID. I logged on under another ID/profile I have on my PS3 and I WAS ABLE to log on to Uplay without a problem. I got the main menu screen and I noticed that there is an invitation for the web-based battle challenge on the bottom of the screen. I must add that I have NEVER played AC2 under this ID before, so there is no AC2 'save' associated with this ID. Then I logged out and logged back on under my regular ID (toeachhisownmask), the one I've been having trouble accessing Uplay with, and of course - the same exact thing happened - I was unable to access U-play (Ubisoft servers), got the same message I've been getting all this time, and I noticed that the web battle invitation is missing from the bottom of the screen.
    I also might add that I have a Platinum associated with that ID AND that ALL of the Secondary memories had been completed for this profile. Then I realized actually that since I've completed all the secondary memories, I was unable to access Ubisoft servers.

    SO, like I previously stated IT IS NOT the PSN network I have an issue with - the problem comes from Ubisoft. Please forward this to appropriate channels so the tech dpt. can look it up and possible issue a patch that would resolve this issue in the feature and provide a resolution for so many of us.

    Hi.
    I've already been in back and forths with ubisoft support for over a month. Initialy I was told I was a unique case as none else had reported this issue (which I laughed at). They say they've sent the issue over to the uplay team (that was over a month ago) and now tell me to post here to inform other of my problems. Dont see how it'l help as I have nothing new but what the hell. This is a summary of all the info I've already given the support guys n gals.

    I'm getting the 'Error loading information from server' issue (except for this sunday when i get servers unavailable msg). Is on ps3 all updated and latest firmware plus all the dlc's.
    I've tried deleting all internet history and cookies on the ps3 as advised by ubisoft suport, tried setting ps3 into dmz zone in router settings, both wired and wireless connections, dissabling all secruity features in router including wireless encriptions. Tried different router and switching dns servers.

    Here's where things get wierd. Someone else on the forum commented they could see uplay load in the background behind the error message. had a look on mine and mine was too. Saying 'undifined' all over the place. I started messing and accidently found that if press triagle to exit while its loading uplay but don't exit. It'l load uplay in the background eventualy and you can cancel exiting. This gave me an apparently missing error call msg box, Told it to cancel from that twice and I could get into uplay... but it was screwed. Tried navigating through uplay menu's and even tried to setup/input a uplay account with it which sort of work to a small degree. Wouldn't accept an account I'd made over the web but tried making a new one and I recieved an email from ubisoft confirming my new account but uplay still didn't work. just said 'undifined' all over the place.

    Also informed them that I also have Prince of persia that I have 'linked' in the past, tried that again and it says linked fine again, got the extra skins.

    I wouldn't mind but I want that family crypt. Ive completely finished all I can including all the dlc, glyphs, sidequests, chests ect. Even went back and had a look at the easter egg.
    We need this fixed already or the crypt (and everything else) needs to be released as free dlc or as part of an update since everyone is suppose to be able get it for free anyway. SOMETHING so we can get it.

    Well thats not the problem since i was getting these errors before i downloaded the theme now i only get the errors now and again i think it is purley because its still just a beta

    Yep i tried the code the day i got it and it did not work, i tried it in a number of different ways and different capital letters and apohstrephes and i did not get the bonus content (this was ages ago but i wouldent get too annoyed)

    some copies of the game will have a slip of paper in the case with a bonus code but mine did not work as well as some other peoples

    Have unlock the tomb and knifes, for knifes no probs, but i cannot enter the tomb, it say that i must unlock it.

    I had the same problem too with the additional sequences of forli and bonfire. I had the code right and input it on PSN Redeem Code option, but it is said that the code is wrong or no longer available. I had my AC 2 Complete Edition brand new just last week T_T

    Hi toeachhisownmask,

    If you know of anyone else with the same problem, please direct them here for support. We now know how to correct the problem, but it's not something we can actively search for. We kind of have to wait for someone to write or call in with the problem before we can look into it case by case.

    Basically, when logging in to Uplay from the game for the first time, it creates an account on our matching server using the information of the console account (PSN ID or XBL Gamertag). When logging in from the web with a Uplay account that is linked to your console account, the account that is created on the matching server uses the Uplay account username instead of the PSN or XBL username. In very rare cases, the server has trouble "merging the accounts" and it ends up with corrupted data in the database preventing access to Uplay on the affected title. The issue has been fixed moving forward. The symptoms are being able to log into Uplay from one game, but not another.

    I hope that makes sense

    So that was it...! After a year, my Uplay is working again!
    So apparently they can fix the problem now, so what are you waiting on - file that ticket with Ubi support!
