Unable to locate DLL... | Forums

Trying to play Rainbow Six: Vegas, however when I run the game, after going through the updater it comes up with an error message saying it was unable to locate "XINPUT1_3.dll". My PC Specs are as follows:
OS: WIndows 2000 SP4
Athlon 64 X2 3200+ Dual core
2048 MB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7900 GTX

I've tried rebooting my computer, updating my video drivers and reinstalling the game. Any other suggestions?

Have you tried to reinstall the latest version of DirectX and its runtime components?

Ahh and also, maybe your Win 2000 is giving you troubles..I am not sure but I remember the game doesnt work with Win 2000..i have read others posts with problems with this OS...
