I would like to introduce you my latest map - <span class="ev_code_YELLOW">Acropolis. </span>
As is evident from the title, is the main motive an ancient temple in Athens - the world famous Acropolis. This map took me most of the time from all maps whose I made before (Pony Express, LITICE Castle, Golf course, Sanatorium) I dont know exactly how many hours it was, but sure more than 100.
Who you have already made a map, you know, what difficulties may be encountered when creating their own objects, especially in terms of visibility of the object from a distance and then limits diagram on the hardware of individual players. And so was one the biggest challenges the construction of the temple pillars. Finally, I was after a few experiments with objects in concrete structure required to use the girders, which is used for each column, 36th in each column is used 8 pieces oclussion blocks.
Oclussion blocks are used in huge numbers at every possible piece of the map, so I hope that the playability on all machines would be acceptable. I can run it on constant 60fps on high settings (in the game, not in the editore, from where are some of those screenshots).

As of the other screenshots show the whole map is located on the hill, which has a dimension of approximately 130x130 meters, and thus defines the main part of playing area in which all relevant place. Base teams and diamonds are located in the side of smaller temples. Since the objective was offering the players lots of fun and variability, i decided that those walls wouldnt be also demarcated area for the game. On the contrary. Once you find the circuit 4 exits, by where you can leave the hill or to return. For instance, if the ignition in the games fall over the edge of the wall and you will be lucky enough to survive the fall, you can move around the hill and get back. In order to not také that way too long, there are 4 vehicles, but as soon as they board, you will need to count on the fire from 50 mm guns, which is the circumferential wall a few. This "element" could be tactically very significant and the map would be not only win by excellent shooting, but also by good team tactics.
