when i am playing the game on vs mode i am finding it hard to do a substitution jutsu so can anyone be so kind and to tell me how to do it thankyou

I tend to just press B and snap the toggle stick(what is the correct name?) simultaneously in the correct direction.

It takes practice but the more you fight the same characters the more you get used to the timing of it.

There might be better methods I'm not sure.

yep that's pretty much it. The way it's worked for me so far is... Whichever way your back is facing is the way you hit the d-pad/joystick + B and poof... a log.
