I think that Altair looks and acts like the Prince of Persia. the first time I saw the screenshots, It reminded me of the Prince. The platforming and the way he does his moves looks like the Prince of Persia. Anybody agree or disagree?

One key difference, however, is that they aren't allowing altair to move in unrealistic fashions. It work for the prince, as those titles weren't really grounded in any sense of realism, but here Altair will jump only as high as a real person, and no wall running.

katz_bg is right. It's being made by the Montreal Ubi group which made all of the other PoP games (the last 3), so this would obviously take a bit from those. Although the Prince seemed to only be dark and brooding in Warrior Within. In TTT or SoT he had a less nasty attitude, (even though in TTT he was a LITTLE dark).

So Altair seems to be leaning toward the WW Prince. I think it would be cooler if they made a hero though that wasn't dark and brooding. Every game character nowadays seems to be this attitude driven mood-machine. We need more characters like Dante from Devil May Cry 3. Now THAT was a welcome change from the mainstream. There is just so much you can do with a main character, but so little people actually use.

I think it would be cool if Altair had almost a psychotic joy in his job. Like when your sneaking up he's silent and all, but when your running from the enemy make him laugh every once and a while, especially when you do gymnastics. And since he is a Muslim essentially, make him have lines that sound like something a Muslim assassin would say.

Just as long as they dont do a copy-paste of Garrett from the Thief series with a different outfit color. That would really piss me off.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

T2T's conception phase was not made here but the rest of it was!

I have all three game home and finished them all (even made SOT and T2T twice). Not because the other forum member mentionned something about breaking jars in an other thread (In a way your little french boy over here, didn't understood) that I've never played this game!!
