Where did you get this patch? I can't play online cause of this!
I can't download it from the launcher either, so I downloaded it manually, but everytime it prepares to install I get the message "Not compatible with the currently installed game." Anybody got tips?![]()

People, listen, for those of you who can't update the game / install the patch / log in to Ubisoft Game Launcher, please, read this:
As E2i4LiFe posted, you need to:
1. Locate the HOSTS file in:
'C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc'
2. Remove its "Read Only" attribute, by right-clicking it and unticking the option "Read Only"
3. Open it with Notepad and delete everything below these two lines of text:
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost</pre>
4. Save, close, and give it back the "Read Only" atribute.
You should now be able to play/log in =D
Once again, thanks E2i4LiFe for the handy solution.
EDIT= BTW, the game works great so far, but I have a "periodical" lag in the MP which freezes the game for a couple of secs and then continue just fine.
Hope this can be solved in future patches
Thanks for taking the time to help me Pumpkins. I tried doing like you said, but when I try to overwrite the old "hosts" file my computer comes up with an "Access denied." I asumme you somehow use administrator permission (I'm the admin on my computer) but I don't know how to do that. Are you able to help me?
I got Access denied when trying to save it with Wordpad, but it worked fine with MS Word. Try itAnd yes, it seems to solve my problem!
I tried using MS Word. Didn't workAny tips or links on how to edit the "hosts" file?
