Thread: feedback (for Devs?)^^ | Forums

  1. #1
    Hi,
I was thinkin about the polls (like townscreen-petition,...) and then I got the followin idea:

As to get a feedback from ALL fans, you could give every1 the opportunity to give a feedback about the game who actually bought Heroes VI.
e.g.: 2 weeks after the game was installed, the player will be automatically asked to give a feedback which will be send to UBI. (via the game itself or by sendin an email or....)

The point is that UBI gets an impression of what every1 wants. (Not just of this or that forum/single fan/...)
That would also make it easier to correct and find bugs & faction-ballance problems. In addition, if there are things that almost every player absolutely dislikes or (on the other hand) wants to be changed then UBI would have it in black and white. (:

Actually thats not what they should do tbh... they should care less about the average joe and think more about the hardcoregamers and satisfy them first. Average joe is easier to please really...

well, I wont disagree with you (as I'm a kinda hardcore-gamer myself)

this wasnt meant as a "please create a very-easy-level petition-collection"... It was basicly meant to outline bugs and graphic/design-"problems", so UBI could improve those things in an expansion. (e.g.: town screens, map buildings like the sawmill or finding "special bugs" like: "do this, press that and that and that and go there and then XXXX")

@hardcoregamers: well, as for that, there's muchhhhhhhhh to do regardin the fact that Heroes VI starts with only 5 factions ):

Actually 5 factions is kinda hard to balance since there are so many variables to take into account.

Id been happy with only 3 since that would have removed lots of combinations to take into account.
Most preferebly it would have been two sides.

As for bugreports and general comments then there are the boards. Ppl with suggestions etc are always free to post them here. They are usually seen, discussed and the devs do look at the boards even if they dont post on a regular basis. ^^

i dont aggre in having low amount of Factions just for the balance case!

They have done the balance part pretty well in both Hereos 3(know fortress was **** etc) And Heroes 5.. and they both had ALOT of Fations, special after all the addons.

So i would rather have some more Factions.. 5 isnt much, but thats what we get, and hope there will be atleast some more Factions comming soon enough.. would love a X-mas update with a faction
Lots of female units = Eye Candy<3

While HoMM3 is one of the better games of its time, I couldn't help but feel that a few races were better than others (IE castle whole game, rampart mid game) Maybe they just started off strong with gosu low tier ranged units, or maybe they just fit my play style or maybe the core resources (ore wood and gold) were used more in the buildings and made the buildings easier to get? Not sure. Maybe I had a lack of a plan... basically I just wanted to get a hero or two (optional scouts on the side) that can clear the surrounding area/mines while taking minimal losses (gosu ranged units) and building up to a cap. and castle asap.

All the up'd creatures had good enough speed and were seemingly more hardy than others.. Vampires liches and dreadknight(deathknight?) would have been OP if the rest of the necro units didn't suck bsack.
