Will It run better on tyhe 60gb version? Or not? I am about to Pre-Order the PS3, and Im still deciding to get the 20gb version, and 2 games, or the 60gb and this when it comes out.

I'm not a ps3 expert...but...i think it will run the same way on each of them...judging that the difference between the two is only storage capability..this is as far as i know

wrong... there is difference between them... the 60 gig version has
MemoryStick/SD/CompactFlash, IEEE 802.11 b/g and HDMI OUT - (x1 / HDMI NextGen)... BUT... everything can be bought seperately (except the HDMI OUT - (x1 / HDMI NextGen))... that means if you buy the 20 gig version you can upgrade it... (as said except HDMI OUT...
Sony didn't want the ps3 just to be another console... it is actually a computer system awesome as it sounds...

IT doesnt make it faster it just is more upgraded along with the HD slot. So if you plan on getting high def tv at any point go with the 60gb otherwise upgrade as you need to with the 20

Yeah see you dont have to worry about the gameplay...its the same for both...get the 60gb version if you are feeling like ....luxury

I don't think there would any effect on gameplat due to data storage, next generation is too advanced to care!

Even if they wanted it to be special by making 2 versions, it's just sad they left out so much to basically make you get the 60gb version but hey, its their console

A friend told me that you would only be able to but the 60 gb ps3 in Belgium (maybe even Europe, I forgot). That's because, when the ps3 laucnhes, a lot of people will want to but the 60 gb one, and it would get sold out. Then the other people who wanted the 60 gb would have to but the 20 gb, or wait till the next shipment arrives, wich could take a while. So they decided to only release the 60 gb ps3 over here. Wich I think is a good decision.
