Problem loading multiplayer games while playing with Hamachi | Forums

Hi everyone, me and some friends have been playing HOMM5 TOTE v3.1 over hamachi but have trouble trying to load the game after disconnect or even otherwise. Also can't seem to play downloaded maps only random generated ones. The error message said something about Checksum errors. Anyone know a fix for this?

Make sure that you and whoever else you're playing with have the exact same maps in your map folders (better yet, you should only have the one map you're all currently playing in there), and, in the event that you want to reload, you should have whoever is hosting manually send the save file to everyone who needs it in question, via e-mail, instant messenger, etc.

This should help to avoid both checksum and desynchronization errors.

Oh, also, you should make sure you're all using Hamachi 1.0.1.5. That's the most stable version, according to heroescommunity.com.
