Thread: Can I run DM on two machines? | Forums

  1. #1
I have both a desktop and a laptop. I need to run DM on both and I don't want to have to keep moving the disk around. How can I set it up to not need the disk on one or both?

Use the same Steam account on both PCs, and then you can play fine . Just don't go around giving your steam account to all your friends (they would notice if you did).

I doubt that publishers would agree with that since they all mention within theyr terms that changing of the software is not allowed. Since no-cd-cracks usually are replacing the exe-file of the game it??s a change and thus illegal ;-)

    Not that anyone would care.

I??d say he can install the game on both machines but just play one at once... but even that is not legal since you would have to delete one copy if you are playing the other

Make an account on steam and enter your cd key in there (don't loose your password or username after that) and then just download steam on both pcs and login using the same account and download the game on both of them.

    Get steam from http://www.steampowered.com
