Why is it when playing rank people either leave the server if they lose?

Also this is my favorite which just happened to me(wish i could name him on here)..

I joined a server just for some fun, we won as mercs but then when we switched to spies the host said "One of u leave my freind is joining".

So i said why can't the kid who your playing with leave, is it because he is kind of a noob and u just want to win?, then he goes and kicks me.. What i can't understand is why are there so many ******s making rank servers just to get to lvl 10+ on nothing but pure bs.

You have your Merc players who come into a rank game as a merc, win then leave with there points.

You have your people who play against noobs to get there rank up.

Why can't u have the moral standards to just play the game and learn like the rest of us have to. I'm a genuine level 4 who has worked hard for my level, starting to get pretty good now after all my time training(most of the time getting beaten) but i never moan i just play because i know in the long run i will become better.

neways i totally agree with u and i only play rank to see the noobs crying 'omfg u fooking haxxor u!!!' (hey, its funny when u get their neck again :P)

so, i dont actually play serious rank and i wouldnt advise anyone to do so because u just cant.

yeah, I decided to try rank for a day on a smurf account. What a joke. Its like the people have never heard of manners. I got level 4 the first day.

well the leaving after a spy or merc round is kinda common

i noticed alot of n00bs who just leave a game when they get killed within the first 30 secs of a game.... personally i think the community of versus is getting to young of age and to n00bie, except for the good players off course, but they are rare

what also irritates me is that alot of peepz ask do we do 2 rounds or do you close down ur server after the spy round.... in other words there is no trust anymore, i think this is a big problem....

What is young for u? There are so immature people that are on, but they are few, and I doubt it that all the immature people are young, it can be the old as well, and for the distrust, its the fact that there are spy *****s, who only play as spy, then just leave, thats why I usually take spy first when I host, because I dont plan on quitting.

Having ladders always produces noob bashing, and flaming... is it your first time playing in a game with a ladder? I've seen this type of behavior when there is a ladder and ranks in all the games w/ ladders that I've played in.

I play on the ladder, because I tend to find a higher level of competition. Since there will usually be a team ur up against, not 2 randoms, but it is true that some of the people do cry alot and noob bash...

If you played versus noobs all the time... you wouldn't gain very many points anyways... you get like what 1-3 points? That'd take a while to bash your way up , and also the highest rank is like 7 or so, not 10+.

well i always start as spy too, but that causes the questions, what i do to try to gain more trust is putting revenge on....

most peepz do indeed then trust me, but i still notice lots of people who leave after getting owned just once

I played some games on ranked, after getting there necks. They quite the server, one good thing is, they cant quite between te match so u can as annoying as u want :P:P:P (joking)

i have never played ranked games. I and have no problem whatsoever with the rank *****s out there.

Reason being is, hosts cannot change a server from non ranked to ranked, and a host cannot start a match until your ready.

those 2 reasons should mean, that no one should complain about them, as you freely walked into their server knowing what to except. In a way, all the ranked servers on the server list provide me with a way to avoid the bulk of the annoying players.

I find that alot of people think if the host puts on revange that its gonna make u able to trust the host more... I always get complaints to put revange on, and when I tell them we switch manual they just quit, lol. If I put revenge on or off, I could just quit anyways, I don't see the difference, and I have it set off incase people leave, or to switch keys or equip.
