How did I miss that? Sigh. From the last group I neglected to note that I need:

    a verb ending in “ing“
a noun (yes, one of those)

For the next group I need:

    another noun
    and another noun
    yet another noun
    and one more noun
    a verb, past tense
    a deity
    a final noun
    another verb, also past tense

Notice we need a new thing here. We need a deity (not a diety -- 'Atkins' doesn't cut it), and we are not particular about the religious source.

As promised, we are almost one third of the way done.

I am beginning to think perhaps I should start specifying transitive and intransitive verbs, that is, verbs which take objects (transitive) and verbs which do not (intransitive). Would this be an imposition on people? Or do we want to continue generating mad libs that make a minimum amount of sense?

    another noun: stick

Somehow I get the impressions that "stick" has already been said.

a noun (yes, one of those)> Blockhead

IMHO less sence, more laughs! But I might be biast as I find the distiction between the two types of verbs difficult, am I correct in my assumption that to walk is intransitive and to hit transitive?

    yet another noun: house

I tend to agree with HannaGertie, if you start specifying what type of verbs you need then I may have to start getting my English language books out to work out what the difference is - or you could give us some examples so that we can try and figure it out for ourselves. Just because I am a native English speaker doesn't mean that I understand the "ins" and "outs" and subtleties of the language

    v pt: poisoned

Welcome, FM! You'll love it here. (And you get to do the deity perhaps).

I think Hanna's right, but walk can be both:

    I walk.
    I walk the dog.
