Seriously...if you haven't got a console yet, this game should make you buy one...I used to play on pc as well but I just didn't have a the money to upgrade every time a new game was released, demanding better system specs. When buying a game for your console, you can be a hundred percent certain it'll run smoothly! That'd just ace..no installing, no setting options etc...just insert disc and play Also, consoles get the best games, quite a lot of games are being developed for them exclusive actually, or released sooner than on pc.

Myself, I went with xbox360...it's cheaper than PS2, it's got better games, better online service (xboxlive) and it just looks wicked!

for the moment, buying a 360 makes sense, since it's cheaper like you said. For me, the ps3 isn't really dishing out the type of games that says it's worth the extra money. Maybe in a couple years, but not right now..

    as for the pc upgrade...bleh.....

I feel you on that one..you're constantly spending money to keep up with the current crop of titles if you want to play them in all their glorious beauty and the such...

Naw, maybe in a couple of years when the price war between Sony/Microsoft heats up. I waited until the original Xbox went down to $150 before buying. I figured it was cheaper than upgrading my PC at the time. But since then, 3 years ago, I've had to upgrade my PC due to age/breakdowns. Now it will equal, if not out-do, the nextgen stuff. I agree, that the 360 looks the better of the two, especially price. Don't know what Sony was thinking, Blu-ray????...not worth the extra $$$ IMHO.

    Just throwing my 0.02cents in:

I played games on the comp until the first xbox came out. Never could stand the PS controller, or most of the games. Now with a 360 I've found a good middle ground. Lotsa games, demos, soundtracts, all it needs is a beer dispenser. Oh, and I have friends on my Friends List that have been on there for years, and I've met some in real life, been to weddings, and even worked with one guy for a while. IMHO, sony came to the party an hour late and a buck short.

Honestly rainbow six: vegus kinda made me wanna buy a ps3 and then i did also among other reasons. Ironicly i played vegus on 360 first and then i herd ps3 has better graphics(yes, not to mention other great features) and much more reliable(yes) so instead of a 360 i went from ps2 to a ps3. I guess ill always trust sony.

i'm with wolf, i'm a sony person at heart, i'll only trust microsoft for pc. though i am a bit bummed about the ps3's cost. Though developers are showing more of an interest in being ps3 exclusive because of the bluray format allowing them to do so much more and a number of developers are talking about creating games that will be so big that it will fill a bluray disc. so i'm going to wiat till that start offering either good ps3 packs or lower the price of it, atm in australia u can get a ps3 2 controls and fall of man and some racing game for $987 aus dollars where if u buy the console on its own it's still $999 which sucks, it would be nice though to see some newer titles being included in those packages though.

Thats y Rainbow Six: Vegus for ps3 came with some more maps and Game Types that the 360 had to pay for. And for a game to take up a full Blu-Ray disc.... we are talking atleast 25 Gigs. Unfortunatly Xbox cannot have these types of games due to they dont have a blue ray player. The Blu-Ray player isent just for Movies it can be for games 2.
