I FOUND SH4 IN GERMANY!!!...but i have questions | Forums

Just like the title reads, i found it at a store called Saturn (which is like best buy on crack)for 50 euro and/or 54 euro (that's the collectors edition) anyways i have 2 questions...
1st. The game is in german (go figure) but i want to know if there is a patch or mod to help change the ingame text to eng. i'm well aware that the game was just release and if there isn't a fix for it, well i guess i will learn German while playing SH4 haha.
2nd. Is there a differents between American Windows XP and German Windows XP? i was told there was but i don't think the guy at the store fully understood my question.

Yes, there is an option in the game to switch to English text and voices I believe.

I dont know if you can change the language once installed but the installation program asks you which language you want.

Just choose english and the game will be installed in english , so did i.

Nope. Just like with SH-4 , there is only one windows which has all the different language packages in itself.

so if i buy a german sh4 and load it with my american XP, i shouldn't have a problem?

I know these questions sound wierd but i just want to make sure everything will work

Yes that should work. The only thing about the german version is that you dont have swastikas on the flags of the german ships in the museum.

But i wouldnt expect to see them very often in the game anyway
