If any of you have recently been kicked for r_DisableSfx on a clan servers, you can fix the problem by opening your system.cfg file located in the root directory of your farcry installation, and setting the value for r_DisableSfx to 0.

Having the value set to 1 disables some screen effects like blur, head shake, etc. Some clan servers now require this value to be set to 0 to 'even the playing the field'.
