Thread: Cover System | Forums

I really like what I seen so far, it's quick and simple.

    From what I seen:
-There's no button to lock into cover, you just run up to it and crouch.
-To pop up, you just use the iron sights button.
-To blind fire over cover, you just shoot. It pops up a little and the gun is held sideways.
    -You can slide to cover.

What I like to see added or more info on:
-Way to pop out and blind fire on sides of cover.
-Way to transfer quickly from cover objects that next to each other.
-Leaping over cover like BF3, animated not just simple jump.

Anyways what you guys think of this new cover system?

I like the new cover system but would like to see how you would throw a grenade when in cover.

I'm curius about the cover with a corner, like for instance a corner from a building...

but what was bugging me in FC2 was the covers solid-state. with that I mean, when you aim just over the sight and shoot, the bullets won't get far because you're still shooting onto the cover.
but that problem have most of the games...

I don't want or like automated movements - it's not that way in real life. I want to actually command the console to "crouch me" - if I'm too slow - too bad, that's life & death. I like the idea of syrettes for the same reason - makes me make choices that effect my character in the game - NO AUTOMATION - else just sit back and watch the game play itself.
    All in a days work.

I don´t want a cover system at all. I can hide behind a cover and crouch myself.

It looks like Crysis 2's cover system with blindfire.
In Crysis 2 it works pretty well but can get in the way sometimes.
