Hi , i just bought a wired xbox360 controller to play AC2 on my pc , but i can't customize the controls ! It's predefined ! Before that i was using simple usb gamepad and customized the buttons easily .For example i assigned "Armed Hand" with button 1 , "Empty Hand" with button 3 etc .But the old gamepad is broken now .Is there any means to customize the buttons for the xbox 360 wired controller ? Please help me !!

Only just got the game....

Sorry to sound ungrateful, as the community have been a lot more helpful than Ubi, but I found the fix not to be so usefull. As the vibration is very weak compared to without the fix. So weak that for some events you cannot even feel it when the fix is being used compared to when the fix is not being used. So unless I am doing something wrong the choice is have the trigger buttons with poor vibration or don't have then with strong vibration.....

The fix procedure I used is to copy the 'xinput1_3.dll' and 'x360ce.ini' files into my AC2 main dir and edit the copied ini file to set 'native=1' and made sure 'ForcePercent=100'

Going back to full vibration again and will leave some snotty comments for Ubi

this is a controller fix that worked for me, just extract the files into your ac2 folder and the buttons appear just as the wirless ones do, enjoy

File isn't available anymore. Can you post it again? I've a wireless Xbox360 gamepad.

Or someone, who has a good configure from wired Xbox controller, please send me the necessary files. Thanks.

I bought this game, didn't do my research, bought a wireless controller just to play it. Yadda yadda yadda...I'm buggered.

I downloaded the Khemitude fix, which I like the look of quite well....but in the game the camera pans to the upward left...twirling endlessly. It didn't do that when I had the crappy controls. Not sure what to do.

Any help would be appreciated

Ubisoft, you clearly don't listen to your costumers. I've found many old post on the internet about this problem and you still didn't have fixed it. Shame on you.

Guys, this is really funny. If you have both a wireless and a wired 360 controller, try this:

- Turn on the wireless controller, the green light should mark it as #1
- Plug a wired controller on USB port, it should be #2
- Start any Assassin's Creed game (1 or 2)
- Go to controller configuration, and choose the Xbox 360 wired controller
- Save settings and start a new game (or load a savegame)
- UNPLUG the wired controller
- You can play now with the wireless controller and it works perfectly, left trigger marks target and right trigger uses high profile
- The next time you play, if you have both the wireless and wired controller enabled, you can keep using the wireless controller with no problems, and unplug the wired one as soon as you start playing

Ubisoft... THIS IS A BUG!!!, please fix it in both games, it shouldn't be that hard

I will actually try that when i get home! (got an cheap xbox 360 controller with the gamestop logo on) which works perfectly and actually can map the controls for the wireless one! Thanks for the tip!
