my game was on version 401 merged ive been away for some time downloaded all the updates to take the game up to 404m and its all gone wrong none of the new planes appear the ground now appears where the sky should be whats gone wrong.How can i reverse this ans get it back to 401m or how can i fix it.Thanks

Try re-installing the patches from scratch. They should just over-write anything that has got corrupted.

It's a pity the patching has got so messy over the years, it takes ages to do a fresh install and there is a good chance of its going wrong because of finger trouble. Still, better too many patches than none at all.

It's almost worth dropping the $40 on the Complete Edition DVD. It installs in like 4 minutes. No patches, no upgrades, just ease of installation. IL2 bliss! I love it!
