Thread: the positive hacker thread .. | Forums

Ok guys , mr.shade is doing what he can for us ,
and advertising for the hacker is just feeding his ego .. (like mr.s said)

Please p.m. shade with your questions and information .. ( guid's , i.p addy's , and any alias's , as well as dates, times , etc ..text of any coversations and threats .. ( evidence)
Urge your favorite server admin(s) to ban the badman, and how to do it if they dont know how ..
THE community still needs to know how many people are still getting hacked however .. so a short note in the " I got hacked thread " will let us know , but trolling , spamming , and breaking the forum rules isnt going to help our cause , and ubi might just decide to "pull the plug" on ranked matches alltogether .. so lets try to be a bit more dignified ..

Stick to the clan servers you trust ..and try to remember this ..
It only takes 2 diamonds to get the carl g back, and 3 for the saw .. the level 20 diamond message will be gone , and some people offer free headshots to the recently hacked .. in the end its only pixels .. I know , I know , Its cold comfort for the recently hacked , BUT AT LEAST THE MESSAGE IS POSITIVE !

I agree completely. In any other threads all I have said is that Ubisoft has acknoledged the problem and is working on a fix via PM. It just seems like Ubisoft is doing nothing because all of the work is behind the scenes.

As Nurse_Bacon said, the best thing you can do is stick to the clan servers you know and trust. Just make sure that you are actually connecting to the server you think you are connecting to. The person perpetrating these XP hacks has been known to copy the name of well-known servers to lure people in. So, just keep that in mind.

Not to turn this into an advertisement, but you can always feel safe that you are connected to a Waikiki Gun Club server by using our LIVE Server Monitors. Every once in a while they go a little haywire (they're beta, after-all), but most of the time this is your best bet at verifying you are actually connected to a WGC server. If your name doesn't show up, then you are not on one of our servers plain and simple.
